              दुर्ग भ्रमंती आणि ती सुद्धा सह्याद्रीच्या पायघड्यांवर ही केवळ मराठी माणसासाठीच नवे तर प्रत्येक भारतीयाला मिळालेली एक निसर्गाची देणगीच आहे.विशेषत: पश्चिम महाराष्ट्राच्या पट्ट्यामध्ये राहणाऱ्या ' घाटी ' लोकांकरिता भारताच्या पश्चिम घाटावर कातळ काड्यांनी नटलेला हा  सह्याद्री म्हणजे अरबी समुद्र आणि सह्याद्रीचे पठार यामधला एक विभाजक.पठारी प्रदेशातून कोकणात उतरण्यासाठी घाटामधुन प्रवास करावा लागतो. अशाच या विभाजाक सह्याद्रीची साक्ष देत "किल्ले वासोटा" आजतागायत त्याच दिमाखात उभा आहे.मुळात वासोट्यावर उभे राहिल्यावर पश्चिमेकडे असणारा चिपळूण आणि पूर्वेकडे दिसणारा  सह्याद्रीचा  पठारी प्रदेश पाहून महाराष्ट्राची  निसर्ग संपन्नता दिसून येते.                           शिलाहारकालीन राजांनी हा किल्ला बांधला. या किल्ल्याची मूळ बांधणी ही शिलाहार वंशीय दुसर्‍या भोजराजाने केली असल्याचा उल्लेख आढळतो.वासोट्याचे नाव शिवाजी महाराजांनी व्याघ्रगड असे ठेवले. याच्या दुर्गमतेबद्दल पेशवाईत सुद्धा नोंद आहे. शिवाजी महाराजांच्या काळात या किल्ल्याचा वापर ' तुरुंग ' म्हणून के

                                संवेदनशुन्यतेकडे वाटचाल                                       २५ एप्रिल २०१५ हा दिवस नेपाळ च्या इतिहासामध्ये काळा दिवस म्हणून गणला जाईल.नेपाळ सोबतच शेजारच्या देशांना हादरवून सोडणाऱ्या या भूकंपाने सगळ्यांचीच मने काळजीत पाडली.जवळपास ७००० लोक मृत्युमुखी पडले तर १७००० च्या वर माणसे जखमी झाली. या धक्क्यातून सावरतो न सावरतो तोच १२ मे रोजी दुसरा धक्का बसला.मानवाने स्वतःच्या सामर्थ्यावर कितीही प्रगती केली तरी निसर्गाच्या बलाढ्य सामर्थ्यशाली शक्तीसमोर काहीच चालत नाही हेच खरे.                     भूकंपपीडितांसाठी जगभरातून मदतीचे हात पुढे सरसावले.”वसुधैव कुटुंबकम” चा खरा अर्थ यातून स्पष्ट होतो.परंतु या सर्वामध्ये एक लाजिरवाणी गोष्ट समोर येते ती म्हणजे तंत्रज्ञानाच्या जास्त वापराबरोबरच माणसांमधील संवेदना हरवत चालेली आहे.भूकंप झाल्यानंतर २-३ दिवसांतच कोसळलेल्या धराहार मनोऱ्यासमोरील लोकांचे ‘सेल्फी’ प्रदर्शित होऊ लागले.नेपाळच्या संस्कृतीचा प्रतीक असलेला धराहार कोसळला आणि लोक त्याच्या समोर जाऊन सेल्फी काढू लागले. ही कुठल्या प्रकारची नैतीकता म्हणायची?

                                    This is the city where Great Maratha king Chatrapati Shivaji used a golden  plowshare  to create ‘Hindavi Swarajya”, city which is situated in circular arms of hills, city which is attracting youth from all over the world to chase their dreams & has a national identity as a “home of knowledge” is the city none other than “Pune”. Youngsters ramping around the road are the heart beats of the city.                                                   Though the six months are over after the college, everyone from our batch distributed over the India for the sake of either ROTI or for the sake of study. Someone is trying to establish his own firm, someone trying to get a job, someone seeking for further studies, someone has got the due to which other one is in tension “ yaar uski toh nikal padi ab mera kya hoga. “                                              Looking back at our college days I really feel that what we were doing at the college was just living but right now the situation is changed that we are living here to live a good future life. Things are changing rapidly. We are missing friends & trying to get adjust with those who are right now with us. Thinking about the college way back “ ohh man really we are missing it”.
